Maddy

Earlier this week, Maddy, Kaylin and I trekked out into the Halifax wilderness to make some portraits.

The idea I initially had in mind didn't exactly include the snow, but with Nova Scotia being the weather wildcard that it is, you don't always get what you want. So we all met up at my house and ventured out to the Blue Mountain Wilderness Hiking Trails and in the pouring rain and deep snow, we found an awesome place to shoot.

I wanted a chance to try out portraiture with my Fuji since I'm usually just using it for landscape and hiking.. some images didn't exactly turn out as sharp as I would like, but I love the overall vibe from the shoot too much to not share.

Check it out!

PS. Shout out to Kaylin for filming this neat little video as well as being an awesome assistant. ☺
